Christian Rome: Private Shore Excursion from Civitavecchia

Spend your day ashore exploring the churches, basilicas and Christian heritage of Rome. Your English-speaking driver meets you directly at your cruise ship in Civitavecchia Port and takes you into the city in a private vehicle.

Your preferred visits in Rome

Agree a route combining the religious sites that interest you with the squares and monuments of the Eternal City. Tell us which basilicas you would like to visit so the itinerary can be planned around opening times and your time ashore.

Planning admission and guided visits

Please bring suitable clothing for visits to churches. If you wish to include the Vatican Museums or the Colosseum, discuss this before purchasing tickets so entry times can be checked against the day’s schedule and return to your ship.

Tickets and guiding services are specified in your quote. Your driver manages the transport and does not replace a licensed guide inside attractions.

Pickup and return to your ship

Send your ship name, date, passenger count and preferred visits to request availability and a quote. Pickup and return times are agreed around your cruise schedule. Payment is made to the driver on the day of service, in cash or by card.

Your tickets, your choice

Prefer to simply enjoy your tour? Let us organise your attraction tickets, admission reservations and, on request, a private licensed guide.

Already have tickets, or prefer to book them yourself? We will plan your tour around your admission times. Please agree the time slots with us before purchasing.

All arrangements are subject to availability. Your personalised quote will clearly specify tickets, guiding and any organising fees before you confirm.

If your cruise ship is unable to dock at Civitavecchia Port due to bad weather, rough seas, or itinerary changes, your cancellation is 100% free. Just notify us as soon as the cruise line issues the official announcement.
